Dear Colleague, I have been through many topics but none gave me an answer I’m looking for. I’ve been working as CC for past two years for Lufthansa in Germany and now got accepted by Qatar Airways. The problem is I have tattoo on my ribs. It was not a problem with Lufthansa since it is not visible in uniform. It’s small but still a tattoo, which was not declared to Qatar Airways recruiters.
I bought a waterproof studio make up with 100% coverage and the tattoo under it is not visible at all.
Do you know anyone/ or have you personally passed the medical with the hidden tattoo? Thank you for your answers

You only have to declare tattoos that are visible in uniform. you don't need to declare a rib tattoo - I wouldn't worry about it at all

You deffinitely have to declare all of your tattoos. There are many people that have been rejected or not even accepted because of their tattoos or undeclared scars. Their tattoo policy is a big no-no.

I REPEAT DO NOT DECLARE IT, I am ex QR crew, you're not gonna take your shirt off during the medicals, you're good to go, and once your start flying don't get comfortable and remove your shirt in the hotel pool or idk because other crew might report you and you get fired, trust me if you declare it you're instantly fired, literally.

Hello I've recently been accepted to Qatar Airways and I was wondering if, in the medical test you go thru in Doha, are we obliged to take off our shirts? Any male cc who've been thru this please inform me. thank you

They do all medical tests, hearing, eyesight, drug test, general practitioner doctor basic check. Blood test. That's it.. no scar or tattoo checks and no removing of any clothes hahah
