Hi all,
BA have advised I get a new passport before I start in July because it expires next June so I'd be grounded while it's replaced and have to carry two passports from then on because my visa a would be in the old one.
I have a new passport on the way but I've had to delay booking my visa appt until I know my new passport number. This means I'll probably be filling out my visa application about 8/9 weeks before my start date with Sky People. How fast did people get their visa appts after filling out the forms? Am I cutting it a bit fine?
Thanks! |

Hi Liv,
I just went through all of this yesterday and I was able to book an appointment for within a week - there were earlier appointments available.

So would transits to another country through a US airport count as visits to the US given have to pass through US immigration even if not exiting airport. My guess is yes given passport gets stamped with an entry date. |

Going through the application form online, it asks about specific travel plan
What date should I put as my intended date of arrival as well as intended length of stay in the U.S?
And the address that we are going to stay in during our time in U.S?
Thank you all |

Hi Guys,
I have just filled out my Ds 160 and booked an appointment in London. However just realised I only applied for crew member D visa. The information sheet I was given from BA said to just put this visa down however when i checked the embassy website it said to get C1/D and B1/B2 visa you need to have a supporting letter and put both options down on the ds 160 form. Will i have a problem when i go for my appointment or will the supporting letter be enough? :) thanks |

Hey,
The supporting letter will be enough. I was worried about the same thing but it was all fine. |

HELP!!! I attained the required visa for cabin crew last year for BA but after 2 weeks of training I had to leave. Obviously BA told the visa crowd I would not be using this visa under BA employment. My dilemma now is I am starting training again with BA on the 19/2/19 and obviously need this visa again so do I have to reapply for this visa for cabin crew or is the one I attained last year ok or WHAT? There is no info on the us visa website to help and they don't take phone calls on visa questions. HELP!!! |
