Not a redundant crew but a resigned one here, who’s looking to rejoin the company.
Regarding the redundant, what I would think is that EK will ask some crew to rejoin, but not all of them. They will recall those who never caused any trouble and also regarding their needs at the moment.
We also have to keep in mind that Emirates love new crews/ freshers. It’s not a secret to anyone anymore

There is no official news from EK about the cabin crew situation. I do believe that they will take back some redundant crew, who have clear records but possibly on a different contract. This would make sense as regards operational requirements as there will be less training and recruitment costs. The chances are that they will need crew and fast, the way travel is now picking up. I believe that some cabin crew are on unpaid leave so I guess they will be called first. But also, you have to consider that not all redundant crew will go back, some might have started a secure job in their own countries and may not return. I don't think they will start recruitment for new cabin crew until the end of the year or early next year. But also it is an unknown, in these unknown times. I will post here, if I hear anything from an official source.
