Hi JKT,

It's good to be a bit nervous as it will make you sharper.

I can't state enough, have an early night, leave plenty of time so you are not rushed and keep calm throughout.

Best wishes for Sunday,
Steve

Everything you have said on this post is spot on!

I like to add some additional points thought to people reading this post.

Do remember to take a calculator with you, you will not be allowed to use your Smart phone or iPod - as it has a camera, and the assessors don't want the papers to end up on forums like this.

Also the maths test, not everyone on your table will be given the same question paper, this is to stop people from cheating by copying others.

In addition, after the group work, peoples names are called out and taken to a separate room. This is to let you know of the outcome. The assessors may mix it up a bit and tell these taken out that are successful, or tell these in the main hall they were successful.

The final aspect, which is the most important for the assessment centre and interview; is Remember your P's & Q's, and make a positive impression from the start. I know this will be stating the obvious, but don't let your guard down at this stage - remember this is a business environment, you are selling yourself! And you will be representing the brand when you are in the TOM Uniform.

But just to reiterate; if you aren't successful, you will at least get feedback as to where you went wrong . This is fantastic, as many airlines choose NOT to give feedback, citing that they don't have to and it will take too long.

We are a successful team of ex crew and HR specialists called Gocabincrew.com We also deliver 2 day courses at either East Midlands Airport (alongside Thomson's) or LHR with BA.
We have helped so many hopefuls get their dream job just check out our testimonials and FB page. Our course comes with a certificate of attendance to show your interviewer.

Hi Guys,

I attended BA's assessment day on 18th June - unfortunately I was not successful and I did not get any feedback as BA do not provide this information.

It worked out for the best I guess as I would of had to move far away from home. This week I have applied for easyJet and will be applying for Thompson when they start to recruit soon for Manchester or Liverpool - so fingers crossed I have more luck this time now I know what to expect.

I attended Kim's Go Cabin Crew 2 day course on the 14th & 15th June at Cranebank which was a great help and I felt a lot better and more prepared after the course.

I would highly recommend the course to anyone! Take a look at the website and whats involved within the course! There are some pictures on the site from previous course - which I am part of

Hi steve, I have an assessment day coming up on the 10th dec and I am revising my maths like mad in prep. I have been focusing on everything you mentioned, currency conversions etc but I wondered...Does the test also include time conversions/questions relating to flight times and arrivals? If so I will need to start concentrating on these also.
I have been studying the company info also interview techniques and presentation/sales methods.... I am keen to do the very best I can during my assessment day and feel that I will have more confidence if I am nice and prepared.
