It varies person to person. Best thing to do is to measure 212cm on a wall from base to top and practice until you know you can reach the line with your fingertips. It is crucial to be able to do that and it is the first thing they will test at the assessment day. If you cannot reach this your application will go no further. This is a good time to check that you can meet the reach test, as you have to be able to reach the safety equipment on the aircraft.
