I hope you're all staying positive and testing negative! ???
I have a question about Emirates pre-employement medicals. Hopefully you can help me out! ??
Scanning through the pre employment medical forms, I saw that any "uncontrolled" endocrine disorder is classed as unacceptable. Can anyone help me clarify what would class as "uncontrolled" when it comes to endocrine disorders? For examples, would an under-active thyroid (hypothyroidism) that is being properly regulated with medications (with TSH values in the normal range) be accepted and considered "controlled"?
Any crew/ex-crew here that might have had the same issue at time of joining and that might be able to shed some light? Also, is this something you did or would recommend declaring at the time of joining?
Thanks in advance for the help!! ??
