Finnair cabin crew wowed passengers yesterday with some traditional Bollywood dancing down the aisle.

Crew on-board the New Delhi-bound flight decided it wouldbe a good way to celebrated India’s Republic day.

Moments before take-off two dozen Finnair cabin crew, dressed in traditional Indian dress, danced down the plane's aisles to “Deewangi Deewangi” from the Bollywood mega-blockbuster “Om Shanti Om".

The choreographed routine, which took weeks to rehearse, started after an announcement was made on the in-flight video screens saying: "Finnair congratulates India on Republic Day January 26th...clap your hands!"

People were even able to sing along with the chorus “All hot girls put your hands up and say/ Om Shanti Om/ All cool boys come on make some noise and say Om Shanti Om” with the lyrics being shown in their video screens.

Finnair blogger Rajendran Krishnan wrote: "Really wonderful and an awesome performance to honour Indian Republic Day. We have to appreciate the universal love and friendship that Finnair extended."
