Turkish airline Pegasus expands to 71 destinations

Turkish low cost carrier Pegasus Airlines has added Doha and Athens to its roster of destinations, open for booking now, and confirming the growth ambitions of the airline.
So now Pegasus flies to 71 destinations in 29 countries, and brings the number of its international routes to 42, reports

Branson’s latest adventure, cross-dressing as an AirAsia flight attendant

Tycoon Richard Branson donned full make-up, heels and a tight red pencil skirt and worked a shift as an AirAsia flight attendant on Sunday. Branson carried out the comic turn on a flight from Perth to Kuala Lumpur and it was all because he lost a Grand Prix bet with AirAsia chief executive Tony Fernandes. Press photos from the flight showed the Virgin boss chatting with passengers and serving food to Fernandes, who used to work for Branson in the music industry.
Branson agreed with AirAsia chief executive Tony Fernandes in 2010 that whoever's Formula One team — then Virgin and Lotus — finished their debut season lower would serve as a stewardess on the other's airline.

Arsenal stars ‘Share a Smile’ with Emirates

Emirates has teamed with Arsenal Football Club in the newest phase of the airline’s global Share a Smile campaign. The campaign began in February and is seen as a vehicle for Emirates to help 'globalistas' connect with each other through sharing the humourous, videos with their friends and family.

‘Dizzy’ pilots wear oxygen masks to land at Heathrow

The captain and co-pilot of a plane coming in to land at Heathrow put on their oxygen masks after a strong smell made them feel dizzy, it has been reported. The incident happened in October on the Lufthansa Airbus A321 from Frankfurt to London Heathrow.
Although the co-pilot suffered eye irritation and felt nauseous, the pair managed to land the 139-passenger Airbus safely.

Two British TV stars have being appointed as the official taste buds of Heathrow. John Torode and Gregg Wallace have had the pleasure of eating their way around the UK’s only hub airport in 80 plates, and have now set Heathrow a six-month challenge to improve the airport dining experience.
The pair were given access to all areas of the airport to sample dishes and drinks from Heathrow’s 73 restaurants and bars to better understand and improve the airport offering.

Passenger ‘humiliated’ by cabin crew over 'customers of size' policy

A passenger on Southwest Airlines is considering taking legal action after allegedly being humiliated about his weight on a flight last weekend.
Matthew Harper, 34, had boarded a flight on Sunday from Midway Airport, Chicago, to Denver, but says he was approached by a cabin crew member after he had taken his seat.
