Hello!I’ve had this question in my head for quite some time now...Why do so many candidates don’t make it and indeed are rejected ?Hope someone can reply to this

A main reason is that so many people apply, therefore it allows emirates to be very picky about who they hire.

They know that there will be another open day down the road with another 200+ people at for them to choose from.

It seems unfair but honestly I can understand why they're so picky.
I've been to a couple of open days and seen applicants who are obese, unpolished, inappropriately dressed or bad attitude, over 40 years old and the list goes on, while others are trying their best to look and act the part.

Middle-Eastern airlines are hugely popular among aspiring cabin-crews, which gives them the opportunity to be extremely choosy as said above.
