Would you wait for Emirates in AIP status for eternity or would you go to Qatar which has already given a DOJ..?
I'm driving myself crazy
EK has been my ''dream'' for such a long time but can I afford to take that risk?
Probably I'm just posting this to hear the things I wanna hear, but any support/opinion is more than welcome...

I would wait for Emirates. If it was such a big dream of mine to work for that company I wouldnt be happy at any other company and would always wish I was at EK. If you got far enough that you are just waiting to hear if you got in or not, then you obviously have something they are very interested in. It'd be different if you had been to lots of ek ad's and kept getting eliminated at the first round, but the fact you got to the FI shows they are interested and even if you dont get in this time you have a really, really good chance of getting in eventually. I would definitely hold out for emirates.
Thats just me though. I'm sure a lot of people will tell you its not worth missing an opportunity for a dream |

Thanks so much.
You know, this was actually my second FI with Emirates. I'm closer than ever, the first time I didnt have AIP.
It's worth the waiting for sth I want so much...
I'll try
God summer will be dramatic haha
Thanks again aye.. |

| AIP is a great sign. I know that male applicants have to wait a long time and its horrible but imagine if you accepted Qatar, signed the contract, then the next day you got your emirates call. You'd be gutted! I definitely think its worth the wait. If you've been waiting in aip for ages, it wouldnt hurt to give them a call and explain you've been offered Qatar but that emirates is definitely your first choice and you would only take that if you didnt get into emirates. They'll understand and will let you know whats happening with your application. |

Hi number31! I completely understand your situation cos I am in very similar one.....to be in your position I would probably wait on AIP from Emirates instead of going for Qatar....at least from what I read on this website about Qatar, Emirates seems to be much better choice I also have to decide and choose - waiting on AIP - since 29th April - or going to work for another airlines in Austria which has already accepted me....I really dunno how to decide cos Emirates is just a big dream for me.... |

Thx niki
Yeah I think I will have to turn QR down eventually.Although they keep sending me details of my arrival at Doha, contract 'n everything. It doesn't seem as a good choice. And if I am lucky I will get into EK eventually.
I can only hope I'm doing the right thing by following my heart instead of my mind right now.
Thx for your answer and meet in Dubai hopefully!! |
