Hi there ....

I applied for a Virgin Blue cabin crew position in January this year, and never got through =(.. it says on the application form that you have to wait atleast 12 months before you can apply for this position again..

My question is, has anyone been in this same situation and applied before the 12 months was up and actually got through?

Thanks

I say wait. They will know if you have applied before, especially when you don't wait the required time.

The idea of waiting for a specific amount of time isn't just because they get so many applications. It's also so you have time to grow and reassess your position, evaluate where you think you went wrong and make the necessary changes.

If i worked HR and I saw someone applying earlier than they should, I wouldn't think they were passionate. come to one of two conclusions:

1) They can't follow basic instructions
2) If they can't follow instructions when applying, they may not follow instructions once hired.

A lot of people have applied before the deadline, made it to AD's and then got rejected based on this. I say just wait it out.
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."
