Hi There.

YES - You can wear religious headwear such as a scarf - but it must be in approved BA colours (Navy Blue/ Black and from their approved sources

ALSO

Trousers are available for all crew, previously, it was only for religious or medical reasons - it is now an option for all crew across the fleet

Hello! Thank you for the answer, but do you know how they let you cover your hair/head? SAS allows headscarf but one must show the ears, do you know if it the same for British airways, and what is the age limit?

Can someone please tell me what items you actually get as uniform? I've heard conflicting things? I know you have to buy your own shoes but what items are provided by BA? (i.e. do you get a coat? Scarf? etc)

thanks

You get:
6 blouses
2 skirts/trousers
1 belt
2 uniform jackets
2 cravats
1 Hat
1 Hat box
1 handbag
2 tabards
2 (i think) cardigans
1 pair of leather gloves
1 overcoat
1 scarf
1 LED torch
Batteries for the torch

Hope this helps... I think the quantities are correct from what I remember being told at my uniform fitting :-)xx

Thank you for clarifying! x

We seem to get a lot more than I was led to believe (which is a good thing!)

Could someone tell me what you need to buy uniform and suitcase wise please? Can anyone recommend any good brands for suitcases and the sizes/requirements needed! Thanks

Hi I'm interested in the answer to this too. I hope you can have Tripp luggage as this is really good value, and the cases glide on 4 wheels and come with a 5 year guarantee. Would love a current Crew member to clarify if this is an acceptable brand.

Yes Tripp is fine! Thats what i have :-)

The medium sized case for long haul and the cabin sized case for short haul/there and backs :-) I'd recommend getting the Tripp hard shell ones though... As they'll be used alot!:-)xx

Thanks for the info. What colours can we buy? Is midnight blue ok or do we have to buy black? Thanks :)
