The people from dubai is this the 'certificate of good conduct' you were trying to get? I paid for one before I left dubai and i never received it from the police so I was thinking to go and get it from Dubai (as a last resort) as I am having no luck dealing with dubai police!!

Does anyone know if its possible to go and collect it personally?

Not feeling starting the whole process again as I already paid once

ALSO i really hope you guys managedto sort it and start in time x

Wait, if you have worked for Emirates and living in Dubai previously (in my case I left in 2012) would I have to get this check thing done? How annoying!
