Hello everyone

I am new to this forum and was after some advice pls.

I have suffered from numerous ear infections as a child and required gromets and paparellis which were removed before the age of 10. Although I have not suffered from ear infections over the past two decades a hearing test two years ago confirmed that my hearing is slightly below normal on one side.

I am due to have another hearing test next week but my GP is telling me im wasting time and effort on pursuing my dream. I am also being treated for a nasal polyp with a steroid spray and hope this can be sorted out.

My hearing does not present any problems in life nor work. Times when i fly as a passenger I suffer from mild ear pain on landing but nothing extreme. My balance is not affected.

I dont want to give up on my dream of becoming cabin crew.

Please can anyone let me know if they have had any ENT probs and still managed to pass the medical assessments?

What advice would you give me??
