Hey guys,

So I am a university student In the U.S and I graduate in May of 2020. I am wanting to join Emirates but I was wondering if a college degree will give me an advantage?

Also, does Emirates have strict standards for looks (height, weight, etc)

Thank you

A degree is always a bonus but for Emirates you only need equivalent to high school education - so in this case it won't be an advantage as such (but good for future employment). There are strict grooming standards and you have to be minimum 160cm height and be in proportion weight wise. You also have to be able to reach up to 212cm, this is to test that you will be able to reach the emergency equipment onboard and is non negotiable - it's the first thing you will be tested on. I strongly advise going to the emirates group career website, which shows the requirements you need to meet and also their grooming expectations for the assessment days, this will clarify your questions.
