#1  Smartlynx - Self employed Maltese contract  Posted 20/01/2020 at 08:56
Dear Colleagues,

does anyone have any other information on the Company rather than this?

SMARTLYNX

- Contract offered: Self employed registered in Malta by an agency

- 38€ per diem pay

- 10€ per block hour (average between 60/80hrs per month)

- roster 21 on (including off out of base) / 7 off

- base at your choice (you will get flights from/to your chosen base before and after your 7 days off)

- Accommodation and transportation provided when out of base

After a skype interview the company offered me the above contract but I couldn't find any other info online.
What would be most helpful is something about the tax % in Malta...

Many many thanks in advance for anyone who can help :)

*****UPDATE*****

Dear colleagues,

finally I've got clarifications on the Smartlynx contract:

the offer is as I wrote on my previous message + a 55€ bonus if you get called on day off.

Contract offered is a self employed contract through an agency based in Dubai UAE and is tax free so you'll be able to make your own tax declaration ina country of your choice (where you have your tax residence).

there is a no minimum guaranteed on hours or not even a base, however the company state ana average of 60/80 hrs per month.

I personally withdraw the offer because of some personal financial reason related to a mortgage approval (I had another offer active) but I would do recommend the company and might be one of my pick in the future.

The agency is really serious and once they make you an offer they are kind and willing to explain you every detail.

Regarding the contract through an agency Malta I don't know anything alse because at the end they offered me a contract with another agency.

I hope this could help

Hey! Just curious about the interview : how did you apply? How long did it take for them to contact you? Did they ask for any English certificate?
I would really appreciate your answer.
Thank in advance and take care!
