SAS Ireland is based in LHR and soon AGP operating flights for main Scandinavian sister SAS, exclusively onboard 320Neo.
I would like to share what the contract looks like and same with roster.
JUNIOR
BASIC 600
FLIGHT DUTY 400
SECTOR DAY DUTY 40
OVERNIGHT 51
BOUGHT DAY OFF 60
SENIOR CREW
BASIC 750
FLIGHT DUTY 400
SECTOR DUTY 55
BOUGHT DAY OFF 70
All is in £ and is a UK contract through CAE which is your employer.
Duty pay is linked to a 15 worked duty days in a month, but If you have less and worked all of them you will get it too. Instead if you call sick you rarely will get this bonus, which is totally unfair
Annual leave at the moment is included in your basic. Unlawful but crew is fighting against it.
Standby at home is not paid
Hotels in overnights nights are not the best and not the same as SAS crew, actually not a good hotels at all at the moment.
Best thing about SAS Ireland is a fix roster 5 ON 4 OFF
Quite a lot overnights with 3 sector max per day..
Anymore questions please, let me know
Thanks very much for the precious info. Are you working for them?I still have a few doubts about SAS Ireland. What's exactly refers flight duty payment and sector day duty payment?. Are these figures pre or post tax?How many annual leave days do you get? Is it a nice company to work for? I'm actually employed by another carrier, not unhappy, but I would like a change. Do you have any idea of when are they planning to recruit for Malaga base?. Sorry if I bombarded you with so many questions . Regards
