Who else feels very embarassed when FS's say on their Safety Demo PA: "this is the Crew favorite part of their job"?

By the way: a Controlled PA! Should be read as it is written!  Angry

What you say either side of the controlled PA is not regulated.

I am more embarrassed when I put the life jacket on the wrong way round, or the oxygen mask falls apart when I pull it down, or get a fit of the giggles made worse by the passengers noticing and laughing, or worst of all, fall through the the toilet's bi fold door when the plane goes round a corner.

Life's too short.

Hi A54Y

Nothing is as embarrassing as FS's saying that Demo is our favorite part of the job because clearly it is not, maybe you don't mind but many do.

I'd like to hear what others have to say!

A54Y , what about that time on the 767 when you did the demo at row 1 not realizing your flies were down.
Pax had a right laugh!!

Happy days.............

Though it must be tempting to add humour to safety PA's at the end of the day Safety is a serious matter. Im sure that Managment would'nt see the funny side.... even if they wanted to.

Best to stick to the stick to the rules .. The way the company is going.. any excuse for a disciplinary.

I did a flight a couple of years ago and the IFS that day said that when the oxygen mask dropped from the panel above, that you should then stop screaming and place the mask over your nose and mouth............. Many pax laughed (except the nervous ones) and so did the crew as we weren't expecting to hear that. There was an ATC controller sitting opposite my jumpseat who then told me that wasn't professional. What's fun to us may not always be to others - the ATC guy could easily have been CAAWink

75767, yes I forgot about that one.

What made it worse was they told you, not me. This gave you the opportunity to tell the rest of the crew before me, ya bugger.

As you say, happy days. Thumbs%20Up
