Rosters vary month to month.

As a newbie you get a real mix as you can't "Preference" or "Request" trips. For example, my first ever roster was as follows:

- 2 night Vegas
- 1 night Orlando
- 1 night JFK
- 1 night Orlando
- 2 night LAX

I find on average I get 5 trips per month. As a newbie most of the trips you get will be trips that people haven't requested as heavily.

After six months you can put a "Preference" into the system, e.g. your base, trip length, region. For a while I chose "West Coast" as a region which gave me more San Frans, LA's and Vegas trips. They still roster other trips amongst that though, so even with a "Far East" preference you should expect to see Orlandos, JFKs, LA's on your roster.

And yes Virgin will provide you with a cabin bag. If you want your own luggage for the hold (which of course you will need) then you will need to purchase a black hard case. Debenhams have some good offers, a lot of crew are using Tripp at the moment.
