Hi everyone! This may be quite random, but I was wondering does anyone bring in their food to work? Like I see quite a few American Cabin Crew who have massive lunch pails with food for up to a 4 day trip (like Tupperware with rice, veg, or chicken for example) And I was wondering if it's even allowed through security at LHR/LGW and then in the States. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Know it sounds weird, but I'm American myself, and definitely, don't need to be experiencing the cheesecake factory for the umpteenth time, and would rather save my calories and waistline for a nice crew dinner with crew I love, instead of having to go out for every meal.
Cheers! xx
