can anyone give me an idea of what it's like to work out of LGW please? What are the rosters like? Can you express a preference? Is it mostly 4 sectors per day? Average take home pay for main crew and cabin manager? (I know there are lots of variables) What are the promotion prospects like?
Thank you in advance for any info!
Large base, always work with new people so can be difficult to make friends but working with different people everyday is fun. You get loads of leave and holiday and LGW overall is a great base.
Sectors:
You can choose if you want to do 2 or 4 sector days, you can also preference late or earlier. Also if you are unhappy with your roster you can swap flights with other crew members.
Pay:
As cabin crew...
First year 1200-1400
After first year I get nothing lower than 1700
Cabin managers get around 200 more
Promotion:
After 12 months of flying you can apply for cabin manager, they really encourage it.

Are the short haul always 4 sectors in a day? Is it extremely tiring? Would you recommend going for it? Is it enough money to pay for rent and live in the area?
I have an assessment day soon and would like to know the reality of it!
Thank you in advance!
Camilla
