Hi everyone,
Hi everyone, I'm planning a career change and I've just applied for Virgin Crew - fingers crossed! I just had a few questions that I was hoping someone might be able to help with?
1) Do crew pay for their own uniform? Are there any other costs in the beginning?
2) What routes do crew actually fly? Obviously many of the routes available on the customer website are actually flown by partner airlines, so it would be good to see a comprehensive list of routes!
3) The travel concessions seem great with Virgin. Do crew also receive any concessions with partner airlines like Singapore, SAS, All Nippon etc? How does that work? |

Hi yeah sorry , ...... possibly that previous post was a bit confusing and I did waffle on a bit!
I do plan to finish my nurse training ...which I complete Aug 2012 ......I plan to apply to virgin around this time .....and HOPEFULLY at least get an interview.
What I would love to know if any nurses currently work for virgin and if they feel it was the right decision to make.........
Also crew living with partners does being away a lot put a strain on your relationships.....Ive kind of figured with the long hours of nursing and nights etc it won't make much of a difference but would LOVE to hear from someone??  |

Hi,
Just my thoughts however I doubt they will be recruiting soon as the are still going through the thousands of applications that they received int he last drive.
They had over four thousand applicants. !!!!! |

| i heard they maybe recruiting in June every six months now apperently until they get all crew they need , so as my mate who works there pointed out june is six months from feb |

hun the closing date for last lot of recruitment to which people are still waiting to hear back from was 23rd feb so if they are recruiting again in 6 months then it would be around August time hun hope that helps x
