does anyone know if they are likely to be an airline where you could commute to Gatwick from the north?
iv been told the likes of BA and virgin it is possible as you only fly a few times per month.
thanks

Depends how far North, EZY do from Scotland...

Any idea how many flights LH do a month and whether it's commutable from the Midlands?

I'm not entirely sure about commuting. I'm not entirely sure what a roster looks like for their current long haul crew. I personally would commute if I was successful as I used to commute to Gatwick when I was crew for a short/long haul airline there.

I follow some crew of theirs and will ask them for a glimpse at their roster.

Anyway here are the routes Norwegian do on their 787 route from Gatwick..

Routes
Fort Lauderdale
Orlando
Los Angeles
New York City
Puerto Rico/San Juan

(best hope you can get an American visa lol)

There is also long trips that involve you travelling via their bases in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo and Stockholm. I've seen trips that can go as long as 15 days. They can go..

LGW - JFK - ARN - LAX - LGW

Yeah I would definitely commute, well I live in Scotland so I would have to haha!
I did a bit of research and its been said that a company called Aeroprofessional actually hire you and not Norwegian? But that is only information on past crew members that have worked for them!

Hej Hej
What attachments are you adding to the application?
Just passport / pic or any of the others listed in the drop down menu?
CV/Letter of Intention etc.

I did try this last year, but I have years experience with my current airline.
They seemed to reject all people with experience that time... But I can't tell
who is doing the hiring this time. The job isn't listed with either OSM or A.Pro.

Anyway.. let me know if you will!

Nell
