| You can wear a crucifx as long as it not visible in uniform, but to display your faith you can wear an approved crucifix pin badge, details in the uniform standards guide which is issued when you start your training. |

You are not allowed to wear any chains that show, it does not look good with the cravat. You can continue to wear any chain around your neck, including a crucifix and always have been as long as it can't be seen.
The checkin staff member that got upset wanted to wear a metal circular wire necklace over her cravat.
As a result of her wanting to display her faith BA have brought in a small cross on a pin that you can apply to wear on your lapel. |

OK i took the plunge and rang on : +44 (0) 870 608 0747
Apparently they would be willing to accommodate the head scarf/ hijab for religious purposes as its already in place within the modesty uniform, so that's great news.
As in regards to wearing trousers instead of skirt they will discuss it on the interview and may possibly accommodate depending on situations.
hope this helps
good luck |

That's good news.
Now you just need to pass the interview.
Which means, think CUSTOMER is every thing you say.
Now you know it is ok, get the job by doing a good interview and leave discussing this hijab stuff until after they say yes! Would be my advice. Of course wears it to the interview but that won't affect your chances at all.
Good luck. |
It is a disgrace already that women on mixed fleet are not allowed to wear trousers!
No way! Like someone else said, the guys aren't allowed to wear skirts, so no reason why us girls should be allowed trousers. IMO the BA MF women's uniform is smart, and swapping the skirts for trousers looks a lot less professional. |

Everyone is open to there own opinions, and i don't have a problem with anyone's choice.
I had a question so i asked, whatever the answer i would have had to accept and deal with it, even id i liked it or not.
so no arguments from me |
