Mixed Fleet Destinations update at Present

Forgive me as I am new to this but how would this work with the crew? Would we have to change in Singapore after a night stop and continue the journey the next day? Or would we have to do the journey all in one go and stay in SYD for a few days then come back?

You stop in SIN on the way out and on the way back.

You could not do LHR/ SYD in one go, it is far too long.

The LHR-SIN sector is about 12-13 hours long. The whole trip is about 9 days long from checkin to checkout, back at LHR.

You report @ 19.45 and land back in the Uk @ around 5.00-5.30 am. On paper it's nine days , in reality it's just over seven days a very hard trip on your body especially as you want to be out sight seeing and having a glass or two of sherry . You also spend three of those nights out of bed flying! It's a nice trip one that I don't mind doing once a year..

Very hard trip, I moved from aus to London this year, flying one way was far enough, let alone flying back in 9 days time!!

You need to look at it as a 7 day trip really and then remember 3 of those are nights out of bed so it is a very very hard and tiring trip with very little time to sightsee in SYD, so really think twice before bidding for two many.

Yes, it starts on day one and ends on day 9 but as pointed out by everyone, it is not 9 whole days long and lots of the flights are during the night.

In the whole trip you only spend 5 actual nights in a hotel bed!! Very tiring.

Time flashes by for you while on the trip but for your boyfriends and girlfriends, left at home, it will seem like you have been away ages.

Anyway, hope you all enjoy it.

Tehran is still suspended. Previously it has been operated by Worldwide fleet and the old Midfleet both as a slip station and as a shuttle. It moved to Britism Mediterranean then bmi and came back when bmi came into BA. It may open again at some point. For example Tripoli was an initial MF route before being suspended and is back now a very strong route operated by Eurofleet crew. It is a case of watching this space for routes opening up and frequencies adjusting. Accra is the one to watch now as its a very busy route and one of our UK competitors is pulling off the route.
