| Haha. I very much doubt Jet2 will get a A330 anytime soon. Maybe a 20 year old 767. If Jet2 crew think they are going to fly on the 330. Then think again. Even your "new" 737-800s are 2nd/3rd hand. You will be saying Jet2 are getting the A380 next. You can dream I guess. |

The rumour of 767s was there 5years ago Maynard I was there. Maybe when us at Thomson retire our 76s to make way for the 787 jet2 might take them...they have some of our 757s too.
When I was at jet2 the rumour was gulfair 767s from the dessert. |

| Well like I said maybe a 20 year old 767. But that's probably as good as it gets. Maybe they could get some x TWA Tristar's out of retirement. Can't believe the age of most of the Jet2 fleet. I had the misfortune to fly on the 737-300 and 800 last year. Big delays both way, Tech problems. Can't say I'm surprised with the age of the 300s. Think before Jet2 start thinking about long haul. They should retire most of their ancient fleet and get some newer aircraft. Even the 800s are 10 plus years old. I hear Jet2 now even charge new crew for training. So basically pay to work on a load of old bangers. Why bother?? |

The only 767 that has operated a flight on the Jet2 network was when they leased one from EuroAtlantic for a week or something during this summer to operate routes from EMA.
I highly doubt that Jet2 will be getting any new aircraft, especially a 767 or 330.
We can dream but meh! |
