hi guys,

I am joining Qatar next month, but my most ambition is to join Emirates or Etihad.

* Is it possible to join Emirates or Etihad if I am working as a cabin crew at Qatar?

I heard the rumour that if you want to move from Qatar to Emirates or Etihad, you have to have resigned from Qatar at least 1 year. It is the strong commitment between these airline. does anyone know this fact?

Yes.
You can go in Etihad, but not Emirates within 12 month after you leave Qatar Airways.
Emirates recruiters will not move you forward during Open Day if u work for Qatar Airways in time of Open Day or if there is less then 1 year between Qatar Airways last day and current Open Day for Emirates.

On the other side, Etihad can take u no matter if u worked for Qatar Airways or u work for Qatar Airways in the time of application.

I worked for Qatar Airways and Etihad invited me for assessment day even they saw in my CV that I worked for Qatar Airways two months before time of application. and also, some of my friends who work for Qatar Airways at the moment are invited for assessment...

So, u can do it!
