Hey. I've applied 3 month ago for Open day for Emirates in Prague. I put there my english address as I was living in England in that moment. They invited me for interview in London (29th May) instead which I could'n attend (I was back to Prague). I applied for Open day in Prague again (9th June). But there is written Invited - Failed to attend on the both applications. Can I still attend Open day in case I have never been interviewed by Emirates so far?

hello kamblery
how can attend as many open days as you want :)
even if you ( ATTENDED ) it and by any bad luck you got rejected or un-successful in any step .
you can re-apply again after your waiting period ( which they will tell you about )
so , don't worry :)
find the nearest open day in your city . and go for it :) GOOOOD LUCK |

In April I was trying without invitation in Cv drop day but I was not successful in that time but I don’t know how they invite me for June and my statues both in April and the previous change to UNDER REVIW do u have any idea if I attend may be they will ask me if I told them the truth I’m sure they will eliminate me what shall I do? Is there any possibility they are not recorded my result in my statues BZW that day I attended without invitation also I didn’t make it even one step maybe are they forgotten to recorded it?
If anybody having a clue pleases I need u’r help? |

how are you  , i hope you're fine 
you said in April you went for a C.V. DROP .. ( which is open day )
and you don't need invitation for that ... and you were UN-successful ..
then you can re-apply again , and you don't have to wait for 6 months . because it wasn't assessment day ..
and if you applied in the website .. they do send invites to everyone ( if it was open day that you applied for ) its systematic .
and if you will attend it they will not ask you .. they might mention that to EVERYONE ( if you attend assessment day before , you must wait 6 months because we will check our system and if anyone applied he will not be accepted .. ..
BUT ... if you attended ( assessment day ) you must wait 6 months , because THEY DO have records even if you didn't make it to the second step . ..
open day = just cv drop .. and they will ask you couple of questions , like whats your name , how old are you , do you work ? ..
assessment day = divided into 3 steps
*1 = Group discussion
*2 = English test
*3 = Group activities

AND it happens sometimes people apply for open day in the website
and attend without invitation .... BUT not many people go .. around 100
then they skip the open day and make it assessment day ..
because the open days are made for MANY people .
it happened with me in my last time i applied ... it was open day , but only 80 people came for it ... so they skipped the open day and started assessment day ..

i guess that's what happened with you , because you mentioned that you were eliminated from the first activity which is group discussion .
after each step , they should give the unsuccessful candidate papers that says
you were unsuccessful and you need to wait 6 months ) ...
try not to do my mistake ...
i before got invitation letter on july 2011 and was unsuccessful in the first round too .
but someone told me they don't have records . so i applied after 4 months of waiting . i should of waited 6 months ..
i made it to the final interview , and after 1 month all my group got their GC and i got rejection , coz i didn't respected the rules . :) now i have to wait for 1 year :D

IF you are sure it was open day , you can go and ask the recruiter that ( you applied in april but you was unsuccessful and it was open day , can you apply now or you have to wait ) ...
that's the best solution for you if they didn't gave you any feed back about the waiting period ..  .. i hope you can apply tho and wish to see you flying soon with EK  |

I really appreciated your explanation still I need your help hear is the story exactly what happened in that day mean 15 App 2012 it was Sunday but they do have interviewed Sat and Sun so in that time my status says APLIED so I went in person on Sat but the recruiters team says come Sunday so I went to Sun and attained they told us about Emirates in video finally I gave my CV and she measured my height and ask me my work experience finally she give me a code so in that paper I know that I’m not successful and says try after 6month the others are pass to group discussion. I forgot it but unfortunately they send me invitation I’m MSC student also work I wont to join Emirate I can’t study I can’t doing anything what shall I do Ahmed.
maybe if u help to explain I send the copy of my current status.

 . i'm sorry sweetheart yo inform you that you will have to wait 6 months ( and ignore the invitation )
and don't pay attention to the status online in their website ..
you only start to pay attention to your status ( after your final interview )
but now , you just wait and improve yourself . see what happened that day and why they eliminate your from the first round .. and next time i'm sure you will do much more better :)
but for now , just wait for 6 months and ignore the invitation they sent you :)

you get invitation to the assessment day ( by applying for it from their website )
you just apply for any assessment day near you , or in your city , and wait them to send you invitation
