Hello all!

Quick question - I am a Canadian, but due to family history am able to get a visa very easily, which automatically leads to permanent residency should I choose after 5 years.
I was just wondering if that is enough to get hired as a crew member for VS?

I read on the site that you need a EU passport, and the UK one requires you to live in the UK for 5 years - in which case I would have to wait quite some time before applying.

Any help would be great! Thanks!

I think your best bet would be to call VS recruitment and find out first,Had a friend in similar shoes and she had to vait for her EU passport first.Hope this helps.xxx

Hi Ceamoste,

In order to work for any UK airliner you need to have the right of abode in the United Kingdom and the EU when applying. You would need to be an EU passport holder or have a UK residence/work permit.

Hope that helps...
