Hey guys!

I’ve recently been offered a job with VA ( 2 months ago and it still doesn’t feel real ha! )
And I wanted to see if any of you guys have any hints of tips for us newbies who haven’t done long haul before, I know about eating right, keeping fit, being away from family, tired all the time blah blah blah, but what’s stuff that you wouldn’t even think of? Or something you take on a trip that you couldn’t live without? Your favourite Make up? What you pack in your luggage?

Thanks :D

Once you’re flying a 3 Mobile SIM card is invaluable! With the Feel At Home
Package you get all you can eat calls, texts and data in the USA and Hong Kong. You can be roaming the streets of LA talking to your mum. Helps massively with home sickness as well as helpful being able to use GPS!

Take food in your case for when you wake up starving at 4am! Pot noodles, rice cakes, that kind of thing.

Get a lovely crew rest blanket and a good eye mask. Always keep a spare pair of tights in your crew case.

You’ll find what works for you eventually!

Have a wonderful time and I may see you in the sky one day! xx
