Hi!
Ive just been asked to attend a recruitment day for easyjet, but im a little worried about this "health screen." i havent been able to find a straight answer online about what exactly happens at this screen. I am terrified of needles and just want to know what happens so I dont walk in totally clueless. If anyones done it before please let me know what they do, i imagine theres a drugs/achohol screen as well as a height and weight check but what else i dont know.. any help would be awesome! thanks!

A health screen? When does this happen? on my assessment day I wasnt even asked my height or weight as it says it on the application form. I know if your successful on your assessment day then your doctor has to fill in a medical form - thats all i know sorry

Health screen ? We just had some questions and if you successful before you start you will have to hand out a form to your GP to fill in thats it ... no needles involved.

You won't be drug or alcohol screened at all. If successful at interview you will be sent a medical questionnaire which your GP will need to fill out for you, basically just asking about any previous medical conditions you may have had and just your med history in general - nothing to worry about really (and certainly no needles involved!)

most uk airlines wont drug/alcohol test you before you start, however most do make it a condition that they can conduct random testing at anytime during employment.
