I think they have stopped, closing date was 31st of August for this year and there is nothing on their website now.

Any mature 40+ people got through the assessment day recently?

I'm due to begin my training next week, however I don't think all my refs and gaps will be done by then.

I'm pretty certain however, that it will all be done by next month as there are only a few left to obtain.

Does anyone know if they are booked on October training? If so, when it begins?

I also want to work a little bit longer just to get more money together for accommodation etc for training.

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting on this site. I found out last week that I was successful in my assessment day and I am to become Mixed Fleet Cabin Crew for BA!

I have a few questions to ask, so if anyone could answer them I would appreciate that! I currently live in Newcastle so I am wondering what (if any) things I will have to carry out in London prior to my start date, as it is not as if I can just go whenever as I work in a school. I have applied for my US Visa and know that I will have to go to the US Embassy in London for my visa interview. I'm hoping (this might be optimistic) that I can schedule that and any other business that needs taken care of, to take place in the October holiday.

Also with regards to the uniform, can an Apple Watch be worn with the uniform? I was thinking it might be handy as you can have it displaying multiple time zones however I'm unsure if this complies with uniform standards.

Me too - 12th Oct, 7.30am. I'm aged 40. I did an AD about 1 year ago, but didn't get through. Hopefully this time round I will.
