All schedule flights have. 10% oversell rule as standard, which means they oversell flights because of passengers not turning up, cancelling, late to check in etc. So if the loads are looking busy expect that you may not get on that flight.
In past experience 90% of the time you'll get a seat, standbys typically go in priority order (length of service, flight deck, call centre staff and other airline staff etc) so it depends on how many staff are on standby for the flight too.
Often you will be eligible for a jump seat if you have an airside pass and depending on the captain etc. in regards to seating in alternate classes they generally upgrade high priority staff and card holders first.
