Hello guys. One question. After you sent your application to Etihad when exactly you got the unsuccessful email? the day after? like 24 hours after or 2 days after?

and also when your status changed?

I applied 4 days ago and my application still says "new application"

I am in the same situation Penny. Still New. I am trying to figure out if this is a good sign or bad. Seems a lot of people get a quick answer when they apply. But the NEW status remaining NEW for a long time, don't know what that means.

Where are you from Elfy? I'm from Ireland and I said my preferred assessment location would be Dublin, I wonder if they're looking for specific people from specific locations? Strange that we have been left with "New application" for this long after so many people being turned down within 24 hours.

This is weird Penny!
I am from Germany and i mentioned Germany as my preferred AD place. I don't know if they are filtering people based on nationality or not. But i have a friend that also is from Germany and applied to Etihad as well. He got rejected within 12hours of applying. We both are from Germany so why did he get rejected so quickly and they left me on NEW. We both applied the same day. This is very weird
But tomorrow is Sunday so we will see if we get any news tomorrow

Guys since 3 October my app has been new. I hope they haven't forgotten about us

People who were on hold from 2016 they got a email days ago about this new positions for cabin crew in Etihad.

So they have the preference now for the new invitations but also other people can apply. My recommendation is to apply for others airlines like Emirates because they are recruiting massively and with Etihad you should not trust too much.....

They had already like 100 plus successful candidates. Just they needed to update their pictures a just it. But they prefer to start again from cero. so doesnt make sense.
