I agree with you because somebody did post on the forum that they received an invite already. Its possible they're selecting people according to the region, but a lot of people from Australia/Spain/Denmark have had their status changed to "under review" and a lot of people are still waiting....

Maybe some people were 100% of what ek is looking for (regarding the perfect applicant profile) and they contacted them very quickly

I know this Thai dude that can hardly speak English properly and said he didnt understand the questions they asked him during his video interview. Yet his status changed to under review. Can someone explain this to me If his English isnt fluent and he didnt even understand the questions, how did his status change to under review

Hello everyone!


I don't think that's the case at all in regards to Australian candidates needing to travel to Dubai. Last time EK were recruiting there were Open Days in Sydney and Melbourne.

So, it leads me to think that maybe they are specifically looking for people from certain countries. I find it funny how I'd been checking the website daily to see if they were hiring and they start hiring when I'm away and on holiday!

Timeline:

7th February - applied

Application still showing up as "application received".

Australia.

Application received 6th of Feb and now under review 8th of Feb. I am so nervous and excited!

timeline:
2nd February: application submitted and application received
7th February: application under review
8th February: it updated and still application under review but with today's date, not the 7th of February when it changed.

I'm from Spain by the way.
