hey i was just wondering if anyone could help?

its a pathetic question lol but i just wanted to know what this means?

i check my application status on the emirates website nearly everyday and i submitted it on the 17th or the 18th of january since then it keeps changing dates like it still says application received but after that it says updated 21st january 2014 and then i checked today it says application received updated 23rd january 2014?

what does this mean if the dates keep changing?

Yeah just the standard full length and passport sized ones as it states on the application.

Though I have been called for an AD at Etihad and I think I will travel from Zimbabwe to Abu Dhabi in March

I applied for Birmingham on 23 Jan 2014, So we're in the same boat.

I just got rejected by Eithad so not in the best of spirits, but I'm hopeful for EK and Qatar.

I'm not a fan of the EK online application ... checking it everyday like someone possessed!

I got rejected by Qatar. And I totally know what you mean about checking the Emirates site like a mad person. I am on it a million times a day

The assessment day that I applied for was on 25 January but I did not get invited.

Joseph I was just telling someone that I am not a big fan of Emirates airline application not just that it really doesn't tell anything unless recruiters are familiar with every job description, duties and responsibilities.

Also they take forever to respond and their system seems broken. My status is still active application received despite the fact that assessment day was 4 days ago which is in the past already LOL. just don't trust their system :)

was the 25 Jan the Capetown AD? I applied for that too and I am still on received yet the date has passed. they seem not to really care. I would have thought they have people dedicated to just looking at online applications. I applied for another one that's in JHB in Feb but I know the likelihood of getting a response is low after all this time. its been 5 weeks now for me

And I don't really trust their system anymore for many reasons sometimes I even think they just pick random people
