Hi All!
I read on the first page of this post that the smear was optional is that true?
Thanks!

Hi Leanna A,

I got in touch with Ek about the smear test because I'm 23 and the doctors wouldn't give me one saying the min age is 25. (even when I went private!) I told this to EK and they sent me a message back saying it's no problem so I don't think it is compulsory (especially if you're under 25) are you from the UK? x

Hi Pink Dancer!
I am from Canada actually. I'm turning 26 in April and I haven't had one done before (no need if you catch my drift) so I was rather nervous that I would have to submit one. Fingers crossed they won't bother me about it!
Obviously you've gotten your GC already and that's how you are so informed with all the questions?
I'm waiting on my call and just wanted to prep myself for whats to come next (hopefully!)

It's good that you're preparing for everything! It can be quite a long process, depending where you're from too. If you don't need one, then it's fine, once you get your GC and medicals through, you'll be able to read what's acceptable/unacceptable and I think in your case it's not necessary :) x

Hey guys,

I'm soo confused with all these forms and stuff.. Just wanted to clearify a bit...

What we actually need to do before getting the final approval and going to Dubai is fill out and upload appendix's 2,3 and 4?
Out of these you fill out 2 and 3 yourself and appendix 4 will be filled, signed and stamped by the dentist, correct?!
So before we go to Dubai we don't really need to make a doctor's appointment unless we want to make sure we're not sick?! (seen as tests will be done in Dubai anyway)

Thanks in advance!!

Hey everyone

I would like to know the answer to the above post too.

From what he says it seems he is correct?

Does everyone agree?

Thanks

check with your doctor appendix 1 if you KNOW for sure that everythimg is fine and you dont need to see the doctor en thats fine (within 2 days)

health delcaration form sign and upload (within 2 days)

appendix 2: you fill that yourself and you need to be honest about it (within 2 days)

appendix 3: all your vaccinations that you will need done before you travel the world even if you had them when you was a child you will still need a booster. if you dont get them done in your home country, you will have to take them in dubai and the charge will be taken off your monthly wages. (within 10 days) needs to be signed by your doctor

appendix 4: dental, you need an xray and you will need your dentist to fill the form out for you and signed.(within 10 days)
