Hi, I need advice ASAP!!
I attended a Emirates open day last week however only got shortlisted for the first assessment.
I want the job very badly like most people who attend, I am considering going to the OD in a month to try again.
From anyone’s opinion or personal experience with emirates open days please can you advise whether there is any point of going and trying again?
Has anyone been to an AD and tried more than once and was successful?

Please don't give up, I have just recently attended an OD last week and made it through to FI... I am now anxiously waiting, this was my third attempt and my previous 2 attempts I didn't make it through to assessment. I know of a girl who tried 9 times !! I do not think I could be as resilient as her however, she made it in the end.

I was devastated at my previous OD's and questioned if it was worth it, The only thing is I believe you have to wait 6 months to reapply.

Do not give up, wishing you all the best xx

There are many people who tried more than once and got successful after the second/third time. So don’t give up and try again. But you have to wait 6 months.

My friend applied online months ago she had an email about the places for the OD but she couldn't go.
Now she can go in one of the dates she reapplied again days ago but ....no email yet...
They say invitation only....what can she do?

Thank you for your reply! However regarding the 6 month wait I have been told by a couple of people that you are able to apply again before 6 months if you haven't been shortlisted to the FI stage, is this true?

I was invited to my last OD however some people were not invited and still turned up.

If it says ‘invite only’ they are more likely to be more strict on who attends

I couldn't re apply before 6 mnths was over and i didnt make it to tje final interview but the recruiter said we can apply if we didnt make it to final interview but i couldn't. Was only able to after 6 months
