Hi there

Can someone please explain the staff travel benefit

When I had my assesment day, I was under the impression that myself and friends/family could book flights in advanced for £5 one way plus taxes. I was told that 18 people that I know was also elidgable.

Its now been brought to my attention that it's only me and 3 friends at a time, the tickets are on standby, so I could book and pay for a flight to arrive at the airport and be told I'm going no where. I thought the benefit would be a way for me do some exloring with friends and family and really enjoy the advantage of the easyjet network at my disposal. The idea of frantically waiting around at the airport hoping someone dosn't turn up doesn't sound like much of a staff benefit if you ask me. could someone please explain the real system so I can get this cleared up.

Thankyou
Emma :)

It's for yourself and 3 other people. Staff travel is on confirmed tickets usually. However, we now have an option to book standby tickets if no ST is available as there are usually no shows so you can get on those flights. It's much better now we have introduced standby tickets too.

Hope this helps.

I was told 20 people can be on the friends and family benefit and that the names could be changed no more than three times in a year.
