I bought a very comfortable pair for the airport from Marks and Spencer this morning. They were £35 and very nice quality.

Can someone tell me if I will be able to wear non leather shoes with BA if they look like everyone else's and meet standards?

I don't wear leather but the handbag will be provided so I am prepared to suck that up...but I'm struggling with having to buy leather...if not I'll have to deal with it but I'd rather buy an alternative if I'm allowed...

Hi Steph, you won't need your shoes until you start wearing the uniform which is about 2-3 weeks into your training. Most people buy them from "the shoe man" who's at the Global Learning Academy where you do your BA training every Thursday x
