Has anyone been to Brussels recently? I just went a few days ago, and i was put up at the Sheraton hotel right outside the Brussels Airport. Since nothing is in walking distance, me and some other crew took a taxi to go down to a restaurant recommended to me by a friend. I highly recommend this place to other crew too!!!
The name of the restaurant is : Chick-o-Ribs and it is in a town called Vilvoorde. It is basically an 8-10 minutes taxi drive from the airport or from central Brussels (the cost of the taxi was only 15 euros!!!)
They sell 19 different sorts of Ribs and Chicken, including Jack Daniels Ribs, and Nandos style chicken!!! It's eat as much as you like for the ribs & chicken, with free fries or jacket potato for just 16 euros per person!!! Just add some drinks (they have some wicked cocktails) and your bill should be around 20 - 25 euros a person.
If you arent in the mood for ribs or chicken, they also have some fish, steak, pasta and vegetarian options - and special cheaper menus for the day time. Maybe it is of interest but they also have happy hour on tuesday - thursdays after 8.30pm.
I had a wicked evening and only ended up spending 25 euros, and fiver each for the taxi (cuz we shared the cab!) I tried 3 of the flavours and they were all amazing - i highly highly recommended this place for dinner!!
The staff speak english so that is not a problem at all, and they also promised all crew (if you have your crew card on you) a 10% discount on the complete bill!!!
