Please post here any info re new entrant courses 2012 for LGW.

It has been confirmed that LGW will be getting 3 extra 777s for summer 2012 plus an extra 2 on option to cover the operation during this busy period.

New routes will be launched and tickets will go on sale by the end of this year. They will be Fort Lauderdale, Goa, Seychelles and Phuket.

So expect new entrants to start training as from January 2012.

Yes definitely take it with a pinch of salt guys.

You don't have to wait for it to be published to believe it. What you have to know is that a route takes at least 3 years to be launched and there are people out there working on it. It just doesn't appear from nowhere. So keep checking your feeds over the next few months.

Hey lgw29

I'm not being defensive, just saying that's all. I've been with BA for 12 years now and know what you mean, but this time I'm pretty sure.

'Confirmed' by who?

Please explain 'on option'. This term is usually used in connection with purchases of new aircraft from the manufacturer. Are you saying that 3 new aircraft are being bought from Boeing with an option on 2 further ones?
