#625  Commuting to Heathrow for mixed fleet  Posted 10/12/2018 at 21:43
I see a lot of older posts from years ago about commuting and about a rule that says you have to live within 90 minutes of your base. Is that still the case? If I live near Reading which means about 2 hours to get to Heathrow by bus depending on traffic is that okay?

Oh and what are standby days in the roster? Is it only on these days that I must be within 90 minutes? Do standby days count as normal days off work or are they a working day?

Thanks!

Hi guys

I started working as a BA cabin crew in July 2017 and created a blog that tells you more about what it is like:

www.barteksflyingstories.wordpress.com

If you have any questions, requests or comments, I am always happy to help. Please just use the Contact function on the blog rather than PM on here as I don't check this site frequently.

Anyone know how can I start my US visa application? As the drop down menu does not contain any UK cities, not London nor Edinburgh

#632  World Class Crew  Posted 03/01/2019 at 00:43
Happy New Year all :)

I'm lucky enough to have been offered an Assessment Centre for the role of World Class Cabin Crew shortly and was wondering if anyone has already attended one of these and could offer a glimpse of what to expect from the interview? Is it better to prepare in a similar way to other Cabin Crew interviews or is it more leadership based?

Any advce that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much

Hi All

I left school in 1985 and cannot find my exam Certs as I've moved countless times and it was such a long time ago! If I can't find them will I not be allowed to apply without proof?

I called my old school but they don't have any records as it was over 30 years ago!

Thanks in advance
