| I use a laptop bag for shorthaul there & backs - you dont have to use wheelie bags unless your nightstopping. |

| Is it possible to take a laptop bag and your wheelie bag when doing a European tour? |

| I would take 1 wheely bag and 1 laptop bag for long haul anyways because trips not longer than 4 days I don't need that much ... something to go out, gym kit and pijama, and bits and peaces like socks and underwear , maybe extra jumper to change next day so not with the same and when you think you can easily put everything in the same suitcase :) |

Again, as the star says, a small spinner wheelie bag, with laptop bag on top. Unless its retail therapy in chicago or boston then the biggest suitcase I can drag ;-) |

i still have my navy blue wheelie bag from EF days in 2005 , still in good condition , is that acceptable ?
Does anyone check in suitcases ? I wouldn't want to hold everyone up by turning up with case on first long haul trip ! lol ! |

| Navy blue will be fine, just take it in one day on your training and they will tell you if its ok or not. About 50% of the crew take suitcases on their longhauls, so you wouldnt be the only one. |
