Hi lovely,

Just replying to your message- I know bipolar crew, schizophrenia crew- don't worry it depends on circumstance and recovery. CAA website has useful information to read up on x

Does anybody know if the BA nurse/doctor get in touch with your gp for medical history ? I know that you have to fill out a form and take it with you but will they get in contact with them? Thanks x

Could anybody tell me, apart from the medical assessment that BA does, is there also an assessment and tests for the life insurance that BA offers?

Many thanks

Do you know what happens if they find something out- for example if you are underweight? I am small and that is a huge worry for me at the moment.

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know at the BA medical, can they reject you if they think you are overweight?

Thank you

there is no such a thing. As long as you can fit in full harness and you can pass the assessment day you should be fine with the rest.

Hi,
I'm having my medical exam next month and just saw in the questionnaire they ask about vision.
I wear contact lenses because I'm short sighted by -2.0 (its relatively mild)
Will this be a problem to pass the medical?
Thanks in advance !

Do I just not say anything about it??? Can someone please help starting to think I will no longer be able to get the job ????????

Hi!
Check this out - here they explain everything.
http://www.caa.co.uk/Aeromedical-Examiners/Medical-standards/Cabin-Crew/Cabin-Crew-Medical-Report/

It's an official CAA website with all the details explained.
