No one knows. It depends on the amalgamation of BMI into BA and also what routes will be operated this winter and next year. They are due to announce some info about the winter schedual late June, I don't expect even BA have worked out how many crew they will or will not need yet.
Just request the email alert on the BA jobs site. Then you will be first to know if they start up recruitment. |

Hey Jelly Tot,
Sorry ive just seen your post- not been on in a while- no i still havent heard anything after the successful email - have you? I was considering ringing them this week though to find out what is going on but im guessing they are just really busy..... my manager was expecting to be getting rid of me before summer ha! xx |

Hi
I too am in the holding pool. I rang them last week and they said that because of the Olympics there is no training until September, and we would recieve a start date until June July.
I also asked about BMI merging and if they were able to jump ahead of us with regards to training and they assured me they couldnt, that they would have to go through the application process like us, before being allocated a training date.
I felt very positive after the phone call, and just realised it is basically a waiting game, unfortunately.

| Thanks for sharing that! Thats really good news . I thought that the bmi crew would jump ahead of us for training to be honest so am happy to hear this. Not long to go until June just can't wait for a start date feel like my life is on hold after Aug otherwise! |
