Anyone know how long starter packs and contracts usually take to come through? I'm panicking as haven't got long till start date.   |

| Hi Just wondered does any one have any idea on what BA's proposal to bmi crew today will mean for those of us in the hold pool for mixed fleet hoping for training dates ???? Thanks xx |

Hi,when did you have your AD.
From what iv read on the bmi forum,they will be offered an option to go to EF
Or apply for Mf,which means interviews ect ,so we should be ahead of them for training dates,well I hope so.i was told to expect to get a training date June or July for some time September or after during my interview.
Fingers crossed we should be ok after the Olympics. |

Hi I had my assessment 28th of March.
Yeah I have read that too and wish bmi crew best of luck with whichever fleet they choose. I just wondered where it would leave us in the hold pool...I suppose it would depend on how many actually take mixed fleet. If they have to be interviewed etc perhaps it could put them behind us with regards to training dates ?
I was told training would re-commence after the olympics in September on my AD but that was before the acquisition of BMI was finalised, so I was unsure whether it was still the same story. So its good to know that's what they said to you . When was your AD? Congrats by the way !
We had an email that said they would be in touch June /July with more information so fingers crossed it will be an email with training dates .

Hi,
mine was the 24th april.They mentioned bmi and said because of the Olympics they wouldnt be giving out any new dates until june or july.that was repeated after my interview,that if i was succesful i would receive an email with a training date june or july.its hard not worrying,but im trying to stay positive,but wont it be a massive relief to get a date,something to work towards.

Hello everyone
I too had the email saying all courses were now full however this week i got another email saying im now starting training on July 12th. Very excited 
Perhaps a few people had dropped out and thats why i got the start date. I had my AD back on March 13th.
Good luck to you all, hope to meet some of you soon. And a big hello to anyone else on training for July 12th

has anybody any idea when recruiting will begin again  .I have just left an airline after two years and are desperatly wanting to return to the industry as soon as possible.Many thanks for your thoughts. |
