| I think that they wait until after the closing date to go through it. They do for most of their other recruitment but it may be different for air crew! I submitted my application this morning so the wait begins!! |

Hi guys, I applied today too! Am probably a fair bit older than most of you (29) but looking to make a career change and would love to work for VA and take to the skies.
Sounds like we've probably got a bit of a wait ahead of us, but fingers crossed! |

Is this your first appllication Joy? It's my first, I've read lots of mixed posts about people applying once and being successful and people that have applied 6/7 times...I Just need to know either way lol x |

Fingers crossed we don't have to wait much longer cos I'm driving my family insane right now. 
Yeah it's my first too. I have a friend who has just got in and I think it was her first attempt, so I'm kinda hoping for the same too! I would love to be one of the few who get it first go, that way I'm not waiting for another six months to try again! Ha! xox |

I honestly think that they will start sending out emails Wednesday onwards next week. I hoped that I wouldn't have to wait over the weekend but I think that they will wait for it to close to go through all of the applications!!
