I agree - you've asked the same in Virgin - Even though its a small selection of questions, your answers separate you from the rest and should really reflect you, and your experiences. There's only so much you can get from other people.

I've completed the form yesterday for LGW fleet!

I'm 24, and have only recently felt that I had enough experience at work (and maturity, lol) to feel ready to apply, and confident about my answers on the application form. Can't wait for the reply (I'll be gutted if I don't get through, I don't know how else to put the answers!)

ok, I'm not getting concerned, because the deadline for the application is 1st April, so it hasn't passed yet. But I am getting a little "twitchy" because I haven't heard anything, other than the application confirmation email.

It's probably that BA are waiting for the deadline before going onto the next stage of the application process.

erm, going by your last post, you applied on Thursday the 27th, yes?

Are you actually complaining because you haven't had anything apart from the acknowledgement by Sunday 30th?

Is this a Generation Y thing, or something?

Back when I joined, I applied in the August of 19xx, received an invite in November for an interview in January of the following year.  I then waited two years for a start date.

BA are currently processing 3 recruitment campaigns, plus other departments such as customer service.  It may take more than one day for you to get an invite or a rejection.

Two years for a start date??!! Shocked
"Yeah, it's overwhelming, but what else can we do.
Get jobs in offices, and wake up for the morning commute."
