Hello.

Me and my boyfriend were allocated in Shannon Base (ireland).

Does anyone live there ou lived there that can tell us is we should look for a house in Shannon, or Limerick or other place?

As far as I know Shannon is like guantanamo for ryan.

Nobody wants to go there and there are some forced transfers to shannon, because they always need people there.
We fly we die...

ive a friend based in shannon and she says its a lovely base, but the area is very quiet, not many places to go out etc.  But she's happy with the flights

hi . ive got friends in snn and they love it there routes are great the crew's are good too.
the bs can be abit funny but on the whole a good place to work .

in fact i wanted to transfer there myself but got turned down for the bs positon :(

 oh dont liston to people  who sl*g the base's or ryanair off on here there just sad people !

depends on whether u have a car or not
shannon is better if u dont have a car as there is taxis that offer discounts and stuff and u can share with crew in the mornings or whatever

ave been in shannon for jus over a year and its a great base the people are lovely

shannon hasnt got much to do in it but limerick is brilliant for a nyt out and its no that far away
